probably not!!!

1. 

a) Which main topic does the artifact relate to? In what ways?

The artifact relates the microscope/ telescope, not physically, but metaphorically speaking, since I am literally putting my pictures under the "microscope" when examining them, and also because the British Consulate became an observatory after the japanese took over.

b) Which other main topics does it also relate to?

West to east, imperialism, nation, Urbanization.

2. Why did you choose this artifact, and how much time did you spend creating and/or processing it?

I chose it because I wanted to do something meaningful with all the photos I took (over 200), and also because I want to organize them, or at least some of them, in a meaningful and artistic way. I spent 5 hours examining/screaming with frustration/frowning/creating this work of non-artistic talent

3. What insights and understanding have you gained from the creation and/or processing of this artifact?

Kaohsiung is in reality a place of poverty and of the working classes. It's not all flashy cars, nice people, and black tuxedos. 

4. Does this artifact reflect your best work and/or ideas? Why, or why not?

No, because when I'm producing work under stress, the work comes out deformed.

Compiling and making the video took 7 hours of though and searching and making.
